We produce our concrete in the UK using carefully selected materials combined to produce our own unique concrete mix designs. We use small batch mixers and hand tools combines with our unique manufacturing techniques and production methods to achieve our particular ‘look’. Our love of the material and all its idiosyncrasies results in concrete that is individual and full of character and has not been refined or homogenised to such a degree that the very nature of the material has been driven out!
We produced our first concrete kitchen countertop in 2005, followed very quickly by an order for an enormous 1 tone bespoke concrete bath to be placed in a stunning property in Inverness. Since then we have been producing a very broad range of concrete products and as such we have a large portfolio of bespoke concrete under our belts.
Concreations takes an artisanal approach, specialising in the design and creation of bespoke handmade, polished concrete products and surfaces that include concrete worktops, concrete countertops, surfaces for kitchens and bathrooms, concrete vanity tops, concrete reception desks and servery counters, concrete floor tiles, concrete planters, concrete basins, concrete baths, concrete seating, concrete stair treads, concrete wall panels, concrete bathroom wash basins for vanity tops, carcass mounting or wall hanging, concrete shower trays, concrete benches and concrete seats, concrete fire surrounds and much more, all using concrete formulas for interior and exterior use.
If you have identified that you love concrete however there are issues with ‘weight’ or possibly ‘shape’ at your site, we can provide Microconcrete as a lighter weight alternative. We have been using a Microconcrete (also known as Microcement) product for over ten years. Concreations can offer MicroConcrete application to complement our cast and fibre reinforced polished concrete, for use in many different situations including tables and worktops, reception desks, seats and benches, traffic flooring, wall coatings, furniture coatings and pre-coated panels to mention a few.
Used correctly the Microconcrete provides the aesthetic of beautiful polished concrete or a mineral surface whilst adding very little weight with a 3mm thick application.
Its mission, to reflect the values of the ROC name by creating Refined, Organic and Creative products from various materials including concrete, steel and wood whilst embracing and retaining the character and material properties that embody their nature.
The key differences is that ROC products will provide concrete products available off the shelf or made to order with the aim of simplifying the buying process for those customers who would just like to buy ready made and ready designed products allowing customers to simply access the beauty of the artisan concrete and our other products without the bespoke production fuss.
